Estee Lauder Signature Silky Powder Blush – 14 Rose Nuance

Today I present this review to all of you. This is my first ever Estee Lauder blush. I am always very reluctant to purchase anything from Estee Lauder. I just don’t really like the packaging and the logo. However after looking at Eileen’s post from  PrettySeaEagle , I immediately fall in love with this. I saw this blush in Changi Airport during my trip to Indonesia last month and I grabbed this without any second thought.

I believe there are few shades for this blush but the one I picked is Rose Nuance. Correct me if I am wrong here but I think this blush has the pinkest shade among all the blush in this range.

As you can see, this blush is very beautiful. I love the color gradation in this pan that tells me I can use this blush as both highlighter and blush. The packaging is fine, it’s a standard Estee Lauder packaging. This case is made from plastic which kinda disappoints me, I would  be much happier if the case is made from metal. I don’t mind having a heavy metal case as long as it looks pretty. Despite the material made for this case, I am still loving this blush.

This blush produce semi matte finish. If you have been reading memoiselle, Meryl usually prefers blush thats contain shimmer. Although this blush does not contain any shimmer, I am still in love with this blush. It’s a good thing having a blush that’s a bit different with most of my blushes. As you can see, the color on the left is very pale, I like to use this color after I finished applying my blush. The color on the right side looks a bit too pink for my liking, hence I always end up swiping in the middle of this pan.

Final thought:

I am pretty satisfied with my purchase. The color gradation in this pan is too pretty to be missed. The color pigmentation is fine, it’s not too creamy and this blush produces a fine natural finish. Although I would much prefer this blush to be in a metal case, I still don’t have any complain over this product. As this product is my first purchase from Estee Lauder, I do not have any comparison to be made of.

Estee Lauder – Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme

First post about skin care, yay!

A year ago, I can’t think why people want to spend hundreds of dollar only for a small jar of night creme, a small bottle serum, or a tiny jar of eye cream. I used to think its such a waste of money also waste of time to apply those skincare. Until around a year ago, I had severe acne problems all of the sudden. When to few dermatologists, beautician for facials, taking medicines for months, been there done that.

Since then I take my skin care seriously. Now I using toner, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and eye cream for my skin care routine.

Most of the stuff that I use is from Kose which is a Japanese brand anyway it’s a bit hard to find here in Sydney, so I have been tried a few different products from philosophy, kiehls. This cream is my latest purchase, I always want to try their products. They have different range of skin care, my concern at the moment is just to moisture my dry skin.

So far so good to me, it has enough moisture but didn’t leave an oily and shiny face, you can use both day and night. I personally use this at night time only and prefer moisturiser with SPF for morning.

I definitely try other products from Estee Lauder, my next target will be their skin illuminator or pore minimizing serum.
