My Daily Face Routine + Favorite Basic Make Up

Both of us have posted many reviews on make up products and nail products but didn’t realize that we have never posted our face treatment product! I would say my treatment product is quite simple; not too much variety of products. My daily face routine before make up is always eye cream, face moisturizer and sunblock. Over these years, I have never changed my face moisturizer and sunblock. I have been using both products for almost 5-6 years and they are working perfectly fine. They are very good for my skin and their price is affordable. For that reason, I am reluctant in trying any foundation cream or any other moisturizer. However, it would be different if we are now talking about make up products. You guys know how many products we have and we could never stop trying new products. 🙂 But still, I have few products that I use most. I found that those products are the easiest to blend with or the most suitable for my daily use.

No more talking, let’s go straight to the list of products! 🙂

1. Chanel Ultra Correction Lift

The texture of this product is very rich and creamy. I believe in investing good eye treatment to prevent darkness in my eyebags and also to take care of them while we are still young 🙂 I have written the review for this product here .

2. The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream

I was introduced to this product when I was 14 or 15. I have been using this product since then and have never changed to any other product. The price of this is below S$30 if I am not mistaken. It’s good enough to moisture my skin on daily basis. 🙂

3. Avène High Protection Sun Block

In my opinion, this sunblock is really great! It protects your skin from the sun and at the same time gives a nice glow to your skin! two thumbs up for this 🙂

4. Chanel Loose Powder

This is a new comer to my beauty stash. All along I have been using MAC’s pressed powder. I am satisfied with MAC’s powder but I am just looking for something new. Then I picked this one. This is overall a good product but I don’t see any big difference between this and MAC’s powder.

5. Les Tendres De Chanel in Les Roses

I just fell in love so hard with this blush! The color suits my skintone very well and it’s very wearable for daily use. I usually use the 2 colors in the bottom to color my cheek and use the 2 colors on the top to highlight my cheekbone. I have reviewed the products here.

6. Bobbi Brown Long Wear gel Eyeliner

Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner has been mentioned many times in our blog and we have never feel disappointed with this. We have reviewed this product here and we have written many types of eyeliners  here .

7. YSL Eyebrow Pencil and Lancome Le Crayon Sourcils

I know I had to pick one product only but I really can’t! I am using both of these very often and I think they are both very often used. I love both of them. YSL’s eyebrow liner is more creamy while Lancome’s more powdery. I don’t have any negative issues with any of these. 🙂

9. Chanel Hydramax + Active Nutrition

I was once had a very dry lip and hate it so much. It’s peeling and it hurts. I grabbed Chanel’s lip treatment and I can see good result on my lip. However, I don’t really recommend this product because of its price. IMO you can still grab good lip moisturizer in a much lower price. Nonetheless I am satisfied with this. 🙂

Whoa it’s a long post today! I hope you enjoy this post and thank you for reading 🙂

Chanel Ultra Correction Lift

Hi my lovely readers,

Both of us rarely post anything about skin care, and now it’s time for us to post what we are using each day! This item is a newly arrived item at my skin care box. It’s my new favorite skin care item. Let’s begin with the packaging!

As usual, Chanel’s packaging is always alluring. It’s elegant and looks so classy. The packaging was made with some sort of metal which makes it looks so good and heavy. I don’t mind having a heavy packaging for my daily use. But for travelling purpose, I’ll definitely move some of the cream to other container. The cap of the packaging is a dark grey color with a Chanel logo on top of it.

Now let’s talk about the cream itself. The formula is very rich. The texture is very creamy. I have only used this for about a month and I can already see the result. I had such a bad dark eye circle and feels quite sad about it. I have used other eye cream brands and none of them seems to be working as well as this one.

The price of this eye cream is Sgd 119. It’s considered expensive especially for us who have just started working. My final thought about this product is that this Ultra Correction Lift is by far one of the best eye cream I have ever used. It’s creamy, rich in formula. The packaging really shows the elegance and classiness of Chanel. The only downside of this product is the price. But what can I say? Chanel has never offered a low priced product 😉

Estee Lauder – Hydrationist Maximum Moisture Creme

First post about skin care, yay!

A year ago, I can’t think why people want to spend hundreds of dollar only for a small jar of night creme, a small bottle serum, or a tiny jar of eye cream. I used to think its such a waste of money also waste of time to apply those skincare. Until around a year ago, I had severe acne problems all of the sudden. When to few dermatologists, beautician for facials, taking medicines for months, been there done that.

Since then I take my skin care seriously. Now I using toner, serum, moisturizer, sunscreen and eye cream for my skin care routine.

Most of the stuff that I use is from Kose which is a Japanese brand anyway it’s a bit hard to find here in Sydney, so I have been tried a few different products from philosophy, kiehls. This cream is my latest purchase, I always want to try their products. They have different range of skin care, my concern at the moment is just to moisture my dry skin.

back of the box with list of ingredients, just in case any of you want to know 🙂

So far so good to me, it has enough moisture but didn’t leave an oily and shiny face, you can use both day and night. I personally use this at night time only and prefer moisturiser with SPF for morning.

I definitely try other products from Estee Lauder, my next target will be their skin illuminator or pore minimizing serum.
