I have been wanting to grab Butter London Trout Pout for a long time but unfortunately it has been sold out since the first time I visited Butter LONDON in Takashimaya. Luckily when I went there few days ago, I spotted Trout Pout and immediately grab it. I don’t want to lose this for the second time! :p
Trout Pout is a peachy pink creme color, no shimmer at all. The application wasn’t smooth at the first coat but everything was good at the second coats. This is great for both spring and summer color. Honestly I feel that the name for this polish is a bit awkward for this color but who cares about the naming when we have a nice color like this! 🙂
Looking at my polish stash, I found these 4 that might look similar. I am happy that none of them is a dupe! Nicole by OPI Reach Out seems to be the closest to Trout Pout, however NOPI Reach Out is more towards sheer rather and Trout Pout is a creme.

I recently went to Taiwan for few days and I am loving it so much! Taiwanese are very nice people and they are very helpful. Although their English is quite minimal, I still survived with my minimal mandarin plus body language.I went to Shilin night market, Xi Men Ding, Yehliu geopark, Taroko Gorge (which is really gorgeous) and of course Taipei 101. Here are some photos I snapped with my instagram (@memoiselle)
and here’s a pic of what I bought:
1. NARS blush in Deep Throat and Angelika
2. Discontinued OPI Nail Polishes in Show It and Glow It, Shim-merry Chic, Glow Up Already, Pink Before you Leap
3. Jill Stuart Nail Polishes
4. Jill Stuart Blush
5. Jill Stuart Eye Jelly
6. Laura Mercier Nail Polish
7. Shu Uemura Limited Edition Eyelash Curler
8. Shu Uemura Eyeliner in Olive
9. Anna Sui Rose Cheek Color
10. NARS Eye Primer
I am looking forward to do write a review of them realll soon (hopefully 🙂 )
Hello everyone, a short post to show my nails today. I applied three coats of OPI My Pointe Exactly and then two coats of Piroutte My Whistle. Both are from New York City Ballet Collection
OPI My Pointe Exactly is a chic pastel grey with a sheer finish somehow the picture looks like blue shade and Pirouette My Whistle is a clear base with micro fine silver shimmer and glitter.
Overall, I love the look in my nails but should apply more than three coats! I don’t like when I can see my nail line after applying polish. Apologize for the bad quality pictures, they are all taken using mobile phone 🙂
Hello ladies (and gents)! Today I am posting a nail polish swatch from an unusual brand. This is my first time purchasing a nail polish brand called Nerd Lacquer. This brand has been around for quite sometimes in the nails blogsphere and honestly looking into the packaging I wasn’t very interested to try. However the swatches of the nail polish really drools me! The glitter looks tempting and very unique.
Most bloggers purchased their Nerd Lacquer through Etsy. In case you don’t know about Etsy, it is global handmade and vintage marketplace from all around the world. You can find almost anything there (as long as it’s vintage or handmade). But the good news is, Nerd Lacquer is available in SGNAILS !! Although it tends to sold out very easily, their collection of Nerd Lacquer is quite good. So if you see any polish that you like, do grab it fast before you lost em :p They also have other gorgeous brands which is not widely available in Singapore such as A-England, NFU Oh, Color Club, Scotch Natural, etc.
Now I am going to show you the swatch of Nerd Lacquer Entirely Unlike Tea. This is a glittering nude polish. It is packed with awesome small and big glitter. Seriously this photo doesn’t do any justice to this polish. It looks much better in real life!
Don’t you think it’s wonderful 🙂

The summer collections for most brands have finally arrived in Singapore. Dior has kicked start to promote their collections earlier than most of other brands and finally Chanel’s here in Singapore 🙂 All Chanel outlets in Singapore will launch their summer collections on March 18th however 3 exclusive outlets (ION Orchard, Takashimaya and Marina Bay Sands) have launched the collections few days earlier. Personally I am not too excited for most summer collections (good for my wallet :p) as the collections are mostly bronzers and orange/coral lip color which I am not really into. I am not a big fan of bronzer as I rarely wear it. I must admit that i am actually tempted to buy Dior and Chanel’s summer bronzer because of their pretty packaging. I have not landed my hands on them yet but I am still not sure whether I’ll be getting it. Check out Jacqueline’s post from mybeautyhoard on Dior’s Nude Tan here.
However I fall in love with Chanel’s Le Vernis in 607 Delight. The glitters packed in bronze color is amazing. From the first time I saw swatches of Chanel’s Summer 2012 make up, I know I should be buying this one. Out of Chanel’s 3 summer nail polish; 607 Delight, 597 Island, 617 Holiday, only Holiday that’s going to be part of Chanel’s permanent le vernis collection. Without any doubt I got this nail polish and tried it on my nails the day after I bought it.
My experience with this nail polish was great. Although there’s some brushstrokes issues in this polish, it didn’t really annoys me as I think it’s quite normal in shimmer nail polish. The bronze color suits my skin and it looks very pretty below the sunlight. The color dazzles and doesn’t look too yellow on my skintone. The drying time is fantastic; much faster than any other Chanel polish. Swatches are below for you to enjoy 🙂
So what’s your pick for Chanel’s summer 2012 make up? Tell me in the comment box below 🙂
