Laura Mercier Baked Eye Color in Black Karat and Lip Plumper in Pink Pearl

I am so happy that finally Laura Mercier is available in Sephora Singapore! Previously Laura Mercier was only available in True Colors in Ngee Ann City. Now that it has a counter in Sephora, I can easily go there and find something that I want. Recently I purchased these two products at Sephora ION Orchard. These are Baked Eye Color – Wet/Dry in Black Karat and Lip Plumper in Pink Pearl.

Black Karat is a gorgeous gold copper color. I love the opacity and the sparkle of the eyeshadow. It’s well pigmented and last very long. So far I have been using this for few days and does not experience any smudge after 6 hours. Another good thing about this eyeshadow is the versatility of the color to be blend with many colors. I can use this on its own or I can blend it with other colors.

Lip Plumper is a lip gloss that makes your lip looks fuller. I grabbed this pink pearl lip plumper because of its pretty color on the packaging. As soon as I saw this on the shelf, I know I should have this on my stash. The color is pretty sheer and it’s packed with shimmer. This lip plumper will look good if it’s layered on top of other color, however as swatched on my FOTD below, it would also look good on its own. Laura Mercier Lip Plumper does have some mint flavor. I personally prefer it to be plain, but this is not a big issue for me.

Please enjoy my FOTD below:

My Shopping Haul

Hello again everyone! My sister just came visited me here in Sydney yesterday and I asked her to buy few things and she has done a very good job for getting everything on my list yay! As we know here in Sydney everything is overpriced so when someone come visit me, I have to make sure I make the most of it 😉 and some Japanese brands are difficult to find here in Sydney.

After reading Meryl’s review about Guerlain Travel Meteorites, I know I have to have it. Its way too cute to resist.  Finally I have Shiseido Prefect Foundation Brush, I want them badly but they have sold out everywhere in Sydney and Singapore. I hope its worth the price, you can read the detailed review of this brush in My Beauty Hoard which also the reason I want them so badly!

I have been in dilemma when choosing Dior Spring 2012 collection, I bought Dior Garden Roses eyeshadow palette at the end but the Garden Clutch in Changi Airport not too expensive and I’m totally sold with the pretty packaging.  More reviews and swatches coming soon and Have a great weekend everyone!

Chanel Christmas 2011 | Rogue Allure Extrait De Gloss in Triomphal 517

Hello again 🙂

This gloss is also from Holiday Collection, it probably be the last that we bought from the collection (see other products’ review here and here).  It is a red color which gorgeous for this holiday season!

What we love from this gloss are the packaging as always, the brush of the gloss is very handy and importantly the color is very gorgeous. We might not use this gloss for day time but it is perfect for night time and it can change your look from casual to dressy in just one swipe.

We used to wear pink or nude shade lip color but we love this color for special occasion but if you’re not confident with red color, you probably want to try in the counter first.

Chanel Christmas 2011 – Rouge Allure Enivree 197 – Levres Scintillantes Sweet Beige 297

Chanel has a broad range of holiday collection. We have reviewed the Highlighting Powder – Lumiere Sculptee last week. The highlighting powder is printed with a very beautiful pattern that’s inspired from Mademoiselle Chanel’s jewel baroque belt. For more information you can click here .

If you have been reading memoiselle regularly, you’ll know that both of us love natural lip color so much. We have posted many natural lip colors lately. Now we are going to review Chanel’s lip color collection for Christmas 2011. We purchased Rouge Allure Enivree 197 and Levres Scintillates Sweet Beige 297. Both lip colors suits my personality very well. The color makes me feel naturally pretty because the color doesn’t change your overall look at all.

Rouge Allure Enivree (197) is described as an elegant pink warmed with gold. The lipstick looks a bit red in the tube, but it looks more to pinkish when I swatch it on my hand. There’s a slight shimmer in the lipstick which makes me fall in love with the color. In this collection, Chanel also released a red lipstick for rouge allure range. It’s called famous but I didn’t buy it since I’m not a big fan of a red hot lipstick.

The other lip color I bought from this collection is Levres Scintillantes 297 Sweet Beige. It is described as an elegant nude with a sparkling effect. I personally doesn’t really recommend this color for those of you who loves daring color. It’s just too natural. However as a nude color lover, I certainly fell in love with this lip gloss.

Above is the swatch of Rouge Allure Enivree 97 on the left and Levres Scintillantes Sweet Beige 297 on the right.

Other than those products that I have reviewed above, I also recommend Chanel’s beauty collector to get the nail polish in Rouge Carat. The shimmering red is just perfect for a christmas shade. Until now I still don’t know whether I should get this color since Chanel’s nail polish is expensive compared to many other brands and I might look for other similar color. You might see the swatch and review here .

I’m starting to feel the Christmas feeling with me especially next week is already November and I can’t wait to see the streets to be decorated with Christmas lighting 🙂 We’ll keep you guys posted if we bought any products for Christmas collection.
