Chanel Reverie Parisienne for Spring 2015 – Tisse Fantasie & Blush Camelia Rose

Hi lovelies!!

Today I decided to post my thoughts on Chanel Spring 2015 – Reverie Parisienne. I am sure many of you would have read the reviews and looked at the products in real life, but let me share my excitement and to show how happy I am to be able to purchase these 🙂

Firstly I picked Chanel Jardin de Chanel Blush Camelia Rose. This blush caught my attention at the first sight. Just look at how pretty the sculpting of the camelia in the pan, I simply can’t resist getting this and make it part of my collection.

There are two pink tones in this blush; one is darker and the other is lighter. The swatch below was taken at home with indirect sunlight, with the darker shade on the left side and the lighter shade in the middle. The shade on the right side the shade when both shades are mixed. I detect a very very slight shimmer in it but it was not captured very well in this picture.

Another item that I picked unexpectedly during my trip to Chanel store is this Les 4 Ombres in Tisse Fantasie. I didn’t plan to get any les 4 ombres but the light khaki shade is simply pretty that I just had to caved in.

Chanel les 4 Ombres in Tisse Fantasie turns out lovely when it is swatched on my arms. I really like how it glides on softly on my arms and the colors shows up nicely. The pigmentation was decent for all these shades, it’s not overly pigmented nor too sheer.

  • Top left – Coral shade with satiny finish
  • Top Right – a shimmery white shade. It’s a little too white for me that I have to think of how to work on this color on my eyes without destroying the whole look on me.
  • Bottom Left – a shimmery khaki green with golden shimmer. This one gotta be my favorite shade from the palette for its beautiful shimmers and versatility.
  • Bottom right – a dark brown with slight red tone and golden shimmers.

Overall I think the quality of Tisse Fantasie is quite balanced, the pigmentation comes up nicely on my eye lid. I didn’t experience any fallout for most colors but for the khaki shade, I did see some fallouts. Below is my FOTD look with Tisse Fantasie and Chanel Camelia Blush.

Hey Meryl, excellent picks! I have the blush and I’ve worn it a few times so far, but now you make me want Tisse Fantasie! The lipsticks are the winners in the collection tho. I am really obsessed with them, especially La Romanesque!

      Hi Sunny!
Thanks for dropping by..! Many items from this collection is calling my name, but I have sticked my decision only to get these two hahaha.. Yes I love the lipstick too but I decided to pass ><

  2. Replica says:

Great picks, they really suit you. The collection has not come out here yet but I think I am most tempted by the two eye quads so far 🙂

  3. Genevieve says:

I, too, am a fan of the khaki colour. However the other 3 colours really do not suit me. Why, oh, why, did Chanel spoil this lovely quad by putting in a dark brown? And such a strong pink? It seems as if they could not decide whether the quad should be warm or cool toned.

    • Memoiselle says:

      Hi Genevieve,
Yay to us for being khaki lovers!
I think the combinations in this quad is fine, they look lovely when it’s blended together and to create a lovely spring eyelook with a hint of smoky 🙂
Hope you have fun exploring the look! 🙂

Hey babe, soooo pretty!! Love your sunny smile in your LOTD!! I have problems with Tisse Fantaisie as you know, but it’s still a lovely color story to own!
