Jin Soon Nail Polish Swatches

One of many nail polish brand that I’ve been wanting to try is Jin Soon. Many blogs have featured this nail polish brand quite some time ago and the review seems to be positive so far. For some of you who have not heard about this brand, here’s some introduction from the brand press release

Jin Soon Choi is one of the world’s most in?uential and sought-after names in the beauty industry. As a high fashion and editorial nail artist, Choi has built an impressive reputation as the go-to manicurist of top editors, photographers, designers and celebrities.
Crowned the “Nail Guru” by The New York Times Magazine, Choi is best known for her ability to pinpoint current and emerging trends and translate them into the art of nail design. Designer Prabal Gurung frequently calls on Choi’s talent for his shows, and has said that
her work is an essential element to bringing his runway looks to life. “The nails are the period at the end of the sentence,” says Gurung.

The design of Jin Soon Nail Polish is simple; it comes in a squarish shape with a cap with “Jin Soon” written on it.

Firstly it’s Coquette Coquette. This shade is part of Jin Soon the Quintessential Collection which consists of shades that is essential to any nail color collection. Coquette is a true classic red nail polish that everygirl should have. This is a timeless shade that can be pulled on anytime.

I picked up a deep olive green shade – this is Metaphor. This is a very deep green that in certain lighting would look black to me. This shade is part of The Ala Mode Collection – the collections that was named after top runway model. Metaphor is named after Guinevere Van Seenus, she’s known for her artistic style and unique features.

I also picked up a girly shade here; it’s called French Lilac. The name feels so cute to me. As the name suggest, French Lilac is described as light plum lavender. This one is part of Botanical Flower Collection.

As I swatch these 3 nail polishes, the formula of the Jin Soon is nice. The color looks true to the bottle and I love the texture of all these three nail polishes. They are rich but not too thick to be applied on smoothly. Coquette and Metaphor looks opaque on first application, but to make a perfect opacity, I applied two layers on my nails. French Lilac looks uneven on the first layer but once I apply the second layer, it looks nice. Jin Soon nail polishes has a nice high shine finish. The lasting power of Jin Soon nail polish is good; it last 3 days chip free with me.

Jin Soon nail polishes are 5 free- it means they are free of toxic chemicals like formaldehyde, toluene, DPB, camphor, and formaldehyde resin. This brand is against animal testing.

Jin Soon Nail Polish is available in Singapore and can be purchased in Vedure Nail Spa.

Vedure Nail Spa is located in Robinsons Orchard Level 1, Wheelock Place Level 4 and Robinsons Jurong Gateway Level 1
