Kiehl’s is Growing, Prices are Shrinking!

Thanks to our worldwide success, Kiehl’s is now able to offer lower prices for the same efficacious formulas. That’s the Kiehl’s heritage, to give back.

Kiehl’s Since 1851, the iconic New York purveyor of fine quality skin care and hair care is announcing they are dropping their prices in Singapore effective 1st April 2013.

We can make these changes now for two reasons:

  • As we have grown our business through the years, we have been grateful and delighted by the enthusiastic response we have received from our customers, which have enabled us to continue to open more new locations around the world.
  • Additionally, as a result of our global expansion, we have gained efficiencies in the costs of doing business.

It is therefore our great pleasure to share some of Kiehl’s worldwide success with our customers in Singapore in the form of these new lower prices for 21 of our best selling products, including Ultra Facial Cram, Calendula Toner, and Crème de Corps Body Lotion, as well as best sellers like Dermatologist Solutions Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate and Ultra Light Daily Defense SPF 50 PA+++.

    Not that this isn’t fantastic news, but I wonder if they are doing this for reasons other than what’s been stated. It would seem unusual for a company not to “eat” the extra profit from the higher retail price if they can. I’m guessing they are experiencing pressures to be more competitive and offer lower prices and guess they haven’t lowered prices as low as they can and still remain profitable. (am terribly cynical)

    Meanwhile I’ve repurchased the men’s shaving cream recently because it’s a big favorite with my husband!
