Last December I attended a Beauty Blogger event from Burberry. I snapped some pics so that you guys know what’s happening
Celebrity Make Up Artist Larry Yeo was there to do a demo makeup. He was using Burberry Palette in Smoky Grey 01.
I received some goodies from Burberry to try on the products. During the event, some items were going on sale too. I purchased few items. So here are the items I purchased and I received during the event
I am going to do a quick review on the make up products here. I will only share about my thoughts on the texture and the color in this post. I will have a more detailed post on the packaging or FOTD in a separate post.
Burberry Palette No 6 in Plum Pink
This is my first ever Burberry eye palette. Plum Pink is a very pretty palette. It combines neutrals with plum colors. The texture and pigmentation does not disappoints, it blends very easily and the color payoff is so nice.
Burberry Lip Velvet in Rose Pink
Rose Pink is a dark pink with a hint of plum. Burberry Lip Velvet has amazing texture and pigmentation. It glides on easily and it stays with me for at least 4-5 hours. Although I am not a fan of lip velvet because it’s less moisturizing, I can’t say that I don’t like Burberry Lip Velvet. It has great moisturizing effect on me compared to lip velvet/matte from other brands.
Burberry Blush in Earthy
I have always been wanting to get Burberry Blush in Earthy. It has a very subtle warm color that blends very well to my cheek. It has matte finish hence it’s very suitable to be used as a contour powder. I am so glad that I got this blush as it’s very versatile. I am currently using this more as a bronzer but in times when I don’t feel like wearing blush or when I am wearing a bolder lip color, I will reach for Burberry earthy as both bronzer and blush.
Wow, that’s a pretty long post. I hope I would be able to do some LOTD post for you. I have so many items to be reviewed so please bear with me if I am kinda late to post the FOTDs or any detailed post
Thank you for reading

Some products mentioned above is provided by the company/Pr. I am not affiliated with Burberry. My review is honest and genuine.

I bet you had a great time
Some lovely products you picked up, I am very tempted by Earthy as it does look like it would work as a natural bronzer on pale skin. Thanks for sharing x
Hi Replica,
Earthy is certainly a product that’s worth buying. Please post a review if you got it, would love to know what you think about them
OMG SO MUCH BURBERRY *CRAZY GRABBY HANDS*
While I really like how the quads look, I think I might want to try the lip velvets first. I heard it’s a kickass matte formula! Can’t wait to see the looks you do with these!
Hi Sunny,
I am sure you’ll look gorgeous with the Burberry velvet bold colors!
*drools*
I want Plum Pink SO so bad–I’m a bit envious of you right now!!
I’m not sure why I haven’t gotten any of the Burberry palettes yet, as I was waiting forever for them to come out! I think with the excitement (and money spent) during the holidays, I put it aside and then after the holidays, I was a bit preoccupied by some of the new spring releases. But I definitely DEFINITELY plan on getting one (or two) of them soon!!
So glad to hear the quality is everything I had hoped/expected it to be!
Hey Becca,
I can’t wait to see your review on the quad when you got it!
Meryl,
Oooh, you got some lovely Burberry things!!! I totally agree on the the Lip Velvets, it’s not moisturizing on the lips, but is better than many matte formulas out there. Looking forward to your LOTD!
Bellyhead
Hi Bellyhead,
Thanks for commenting. Burberry lippies have one of the best formula out there
OH EM GEE, looks like a very fun event. I love your picks too. Those new quads are all very pretty, touch to choose which. I only have Tangerine, now that you mention Earthy I need to try it out. Thanks for sharing! xx
Hi JoanneP,
Thanks for dropping by
earthy is interesting that it could be used for both blush and contour powder. Post a review when you got it xoxo
