Hello!
Today I’m going to review YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick #1 in Nude Beige. This lipstick is part of my YSL Haul.
Firstly, I love the packaging of YSL Rouge Volupte. It looks very classy and elegant. It’s heavy and I love the gold plated casing of this lipstick. Again, the YSL logo in the middle of the casing just adds up the luxuriousness of this lipstick.
Nude beige is a pretty pinkish beige. I’m such a big fan of this kind of color. Previously I have reviewed YSL Rouge Volupte #7 in Pink Lingerie and I think Nude Beige suits my taste better. Pink Lingerie is a very sweet pink but it looks a bit pale on me. Nude beige has more nude color tone which I think suits me quite well 
I don’t really like the texture of this lipstick. It’s way too creamy. Moreover when my lips are dry, this lipstick emphasizes the dryness of the lipstick. One way to cover the flaws is to add some lipgloss on top of this.
I did a simple FOTD with YSL Rouge Volupte #1 Nude Beige. For my eyes, it was simply a black eyeliner with a pair of false eyelashes. I used MAC bronzer in Bronze to sculpt my face and for my cheek I am using Jill Stuart Blush in #14 Lantana Honey.

Whoa this looks great on you! I don’t think I can ever pull anything that’s called nude beige off (it will most definitely wash me out), but it works for you!

I have to say, I very much agree: I LOVE Nude Beige and I do think it’s a little more flattering than Pink Lingerie. I think you really have to have a specific light skin tone to pull off Pink Lingerie (which actually, you do–but I could NEVER wear something that light because my skin is darker/warmer). Nude Beige is much easier to wear…plus, I LOVE a good nudey-pink!

agree that nude beige is way easier to wear.. It match very well with smokey eye look. I am always drawn to light pink/nude pink shades. I would love to wear reds or vampy shades but I don’t like how it looks on me
This is actually one of my fave lipsticks. I love the nude and adore the texture. I think that YSL has incredible lipstick shades, they are just perfect! Very lovely FOTD, love the winged liner
