Finally I got myself a Guerlain palette, yay! I have been eyeing on Guerlain’s product for few months but because of its hefty price tag, I always ended up not buying anything. I bought this palette in Changi airport where they are selling it at a cheaper price. I bought 2 Guerlain palette, and one of them is this one (I’ll review about the other one on other post). As you all know, I have a weakness in everything neutral. There were many choices of Guerlain’s 4 couleurs palette and yet I chosed this one. This palette consists of 4 colors; two of them are shimmer eye shadow and the other two are matte. The matte colors are pink and brown. The brown color is just at the right tone, it’s not too dark and not too light too. The shimmer color is a light taupe and a light caramel brown color.
Looking at this palette, it’s pretty easy for me to pick my favorite color. It’s the shimmering taupe at the right corner. I just loove shimmering taupe shade. The pigmentation of this palette is good. The shimmering color provides much better pigmentation than the matte ones. The light pink looks a little bit dead to me. It’s pretty hard for me to get the color when I swatch it, nonetheless I can still use this on my browbone. Honestly, this palette is not as good as what I would have expected. I thought this palette would be buttery smooth with almost no fallouts. I have tried using this eye palette and I have experience fall outs. I really want to love this eye palette but I really can’t.

Yes for such price I think it’s a pity that it has fall outs. I think I would have to try my other Guerlain to test
Aw, that’s too bad about the formula. I expected these to be *amazing* too and was really wanting to get the new 14 Les Fauves when it comes out. Now rethinking that…I’ve tried WAY too many amazing shadows to spend that much on one that is mediocre :/ The shades are so lovely, though
Yes the shades are lovely Becca, unfortunately the formula wasn’t up to that standard. I hope my other palette would have a better quality though.
