This post is supposed to be up since a month ago but because of many things I only get the chance to post it now. My love for Rouge Coco shine has been growing since my first purchase of Evasion 6 months ago. I have been wearing Evasion regularly and I am surprised that I have used half of it
When Chanel released few more colors last month, I decided to grab few more colors. Recently I purchased two Rouge Coco Shine 70 Sourire and 62 Monte Carlo. Sourire is a newly released Rouge Coco Shine, this was released in May. Monte Carlo is an oder shade but i have no clue of when this was released.
Sourire
Sourire is a pink petal color that looks very beautiful when swatched on my arm. The pink color is not that extreme yet gives that natural fresh looking to my skin. Currently I am very much in love with this lipstick and keep on wearing this everyday. The thing I love about Rouge Coco Shine range is that whatever color that you pick, it won’t look too much as it emphasizes on the shine of the color.
Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo is a sheer red with minimal pink glitter inside. I want to start using red lipstick for dinner but I really can’t stand looking at my face with a red bold lipstick. Whenever I am wearing a red lipstick, I always end up removing it at the restaurant and change it to a daring pink color. Rouge Coco Shine Monte Carlo offers a red looking lip in a sheer look. At first when I tried this on my lip, I’d still feel weird to see a red lip on me. However as I kept on looking, I feel that this lipstick is worth a try. It doesn’t look as daring as other red lipstick in Rouge Coco range.
I think this lipstick is more suitable to people who wants to start wearing red lipstick but still uncomfortable looking at themselves in a red lip color. Monte Carlo provides a sheer red finish so that people like me would still feel comfortable looking at themselves with a red lipstick.
Final Thoughts:
I think Chanel Rouge Coco Shine range has never disappoint me. There are many colors in this range yet it provides a sheer and natural looking finish. It’s very suitable for people who loves natural looking lips with a high shine finish. I don’t have any regret buying these lipsticks. If you are looking for a sheer looking lipstick, Sourire gives you the perfect color; whereas if you’re looking for a red lipstick but don’t dare to wear a bold red, you can give Monte Carlo a try.

I love your pouty lips! Sourire looks so pretty on you. Monte Carlo is part of the original line up when RCS was first introduced. I love them too.
What a compliment
thank you! Honestly sometimes I am not confident with my lip though but thanks. Great info about Monte Carlo
Love how Monte Carlo looks on you. This is certainly a good recommendation for ladies who would wanna try wearing red lips.
My favourite from Rouge coco shine is still boy.
Hi Ruby, boy is such a pretty color. I swatched it at the counter too but I didn’t buy it.
Yes Monte Carlo is great for ladies who wants to try red lipstick
Wow, so pretty! I’m actually surprised that I like Monte Carlo a lot more than Sourire! I don’t like a really bold, opaque lip either and always feel really, really uncomfortable when I do have lipstick on. The most I’ll usually wear is something sheer like the Burberry Lip Mist–similar to the Rouge Coco Shine. I haven’t tried any of the Coco Shines yet, but I definitely plan to! This one is lovely and I’m going to have a swatch at the mall this weekend
Burberry lip mist is great! I love most of Burberry’s product. The lip cover is very moisturizing too
Monte Carlo looks very pretty, I like to see sheer red on me rather than an opaque red. It feels weird to see myself in such bold color. Let me know what you’re getting from your weekend shopping
